Bits of 4 TUNES Biography...

Since 1989, the 4 TUNES have been actively bringing their special brand of a cappella music to audiences all over British Columbia. They have performed for thousands of people in all sorts of venues, be they large (and not so large...) concert halls, the P.N.E. Mainstage, moving trains, a snow stage on Whistler Mountain or hundreds of schools.

The 4TUNES is one of Western Canada's most respected a cappella quartets. In November of 1996 they were invited to attend the "West Coast A Cappella Summit" in San Francisco where they gave a workshop to share their expertise with other singers from all over the world.

In 1995 the 4 TUNES dazzled the folks at the Vancouver Fringe Festival with their special a cappella revue: "4 - Ever Paisley, an A Cappella Psychedella". This 'hippy-trippy' '60's show performed to sold-out crowds, received standing ovations and was then held over as a 'Pick of the Fringe'.

The 4 TUNES have been active on TV and Radio over the years. They have been repeat guests on CBC Radio 1's "Afternoon Show" and have been heard nationally on Radio Canada's "Ventes d' Ouest". They have been seen locally and nationally on CBC Television's French Station and RDI. (Tim speaks a little french!) Their B.C.T.V. "Kid's Concert" show has aired all over Canada as well as around the globe.

The 4 TUNES' CD "The Unsung Heroes of Song" has been warmly received and played on CBC radio as well as on stations all over North America that devote special shows to a cappella music. The CD continues to be a consistent, global seller through the "Primarily A Cappella" mail order catalogue.
