How to fly a Revolution
When I first got my Rev 1.5, I did the smart thing first, I watched the video...After having watched more than a few people wrestle
with their Revs on the first few setups, this was a good thing, as it shows a pretty foolproof method of setting up the Rev without
the kite pulling you around the beach on a windy day. Then, being minorly net fluent, it was off to the net to find tips and tricks...
- John Mitchell's
"Learning to fly a four line controlled kite"
- Probably one of the very first "Rev" "how-to" articles I ever read, and one I still recommend to new flyers that
are about to embark on the Revolution learning curve...Still waiting to see of John ever puts the other articles he
has written online, they look like they would be great...
- Revolution Kite's Advanced Flying Techniques
- Straight from the source, Revolution's Advanced Flying Techniques section of their web site helped me
greatly as I was starting out flying quad line kites. It gave me a good basic grounding in what to do and how to do it.
And, I still refer back to it for further tuning to my flying, often simply working on one specific excerise for an entire
afternoon. (down for the moment, soon to be resurrected....)
More articles to come as various REVisions members submit their thoughts...
