omfg, an update!

Looking at these files, I see the last update to the site was Sept 9th, 1996. Its Jan 30th, 2004.

So, call me lazy! That being said, not much has changed, but, if you click here, I'll do a quick page of where you can find various BTC types ok? This site has been alive for 11 years. Thats got to be some manner of a record.

Since 1993 the Bourb.Net has been serving fans of the band with an e-mail account BTC@IO.ORG and a USENET newsgroup.

Previously, and perhaps in the future, this site has resided wherever Jon Lax could find server space, most recently on his Mac at Shift Magazine. About a month ago, Gene Hardy had mentioned that since Jon was leaving Shift, the site needed at least a temporary home, thus I offered up space on my server, monkey-boy.com as a favour to one of my favorite bands. At this point, very little has changed about the site, but, slowly, I'll be filling out some areas, and maybe dress up some pages here and there. A trivia note... almost 2 years ago, I saw the Bourbons in Vancouver at the Town Pump. I had been on the net for a while, and I was pleased to find that the band had a web site, done by Jon. After a few MORE beers, I decided that I should write a web site listing any and all Canadian music existing on the web. 2 years later, that site still exists, and has become HUGE. Check it out at www.monkey-boy.com/cmusic . You can probably truthfully state that the existence of monkey-boy.com is indirectly related to that fateful evening with the Bourbons, so I'll thank'em here...Feel free to look around or if you want to make a contribution let me know by e-mailing me at dh@monkey-boy.com

The band has extended their hiatus until the end of the summer, 2045.
